AMCI

The Colombian Association of Critical Medicine and Intensive Care is a non-profit scientific association that promotes the responsible development of critical medicine and intensive care, scientific medical practice for the community, and the general well-being including the active participation of its members. It integrates professions representing different areas of expertise, such as comprehensive therapies, nursing, and medicine, who strive for the quality of care and their respective unions; in addition to offering an academic research and consulting proposal based on ethical principles, humanization and excellence, focused on critical patients, human talent, and the community as a whole.

The objectives of the Colombian Association of Critical Medicine and Intensive Care include the development and improvement of Intensive Care and critical medicine in Colombia; scientific research; academic training and union work; in addition to ensuring compliance with ethics in the practice of intensive care and critical medicine, instill in its associates solid principles of social responsibility, and establish administrative, scientific and logistical guidelines with which critical medicine services and intensive care units must comply in accordance with the development of the specialty.
